On November 25, 2022, the African Culture Fund (ACF) closed the call for applications for the LEWO Boot Camp, dedicated exclusively to leadership training for female artists and cultural entrepreneurs from Central and West Africa.
At the closing date, 210 applications were registered, including 155 French-speaking files and 55 English-speaking files, from 19 African countries.
The selection process took place in three stages: the registration and analysis of the candidate applications which made it possible to constitute a purged base, the pre-selection, and the evaluation and the final selection by an autonomous and independent Jury composed of a Representant of the IKAM Institute (Mr. Bourama Diarra), a cultural expert (Mr. Gaoussou Yah Touré) and a Representant of the ACF Administration (Mr. Moussa Boubacar Diarra).
At the end of the deliberations, 12 candidates were selected from 10 African countries.
