The African Culture Fund (ACF) closed on September 16, 2022, its 11th special call for proposals “Performing Arts, Cinema – Audiovisual, Visual Arts”.

At the close of the call, 1,473 applications were registered, including 876 French-speaking files and 597 English-speaking files, from 45 African countries and 10 from the diaspora.

The selection process took place in three stages: the registration and analysis of the candidate files which made it possible to constitute a purged base, the pre-selection, and the evaluation and the final selection by an autonomous and independent Jury composed of: Edwige Aplogan (Benin) ; Luc Mayitoukou (Senegal / RD Congo) ; André Leroux (South Africa) et Dr Robert Nantchouang (Cameroon).

At the end of the deliberations, 20 applications were selected from 15 African countries.
