The “Black to the future in the Metaverse” project by Omolara Elizabeth ADENUGBA (NIGERIA) | Call #11

Project description:

This project comes as a series of 100 artworks in a collection that explores the future of Africa’s global experiences through personal and societal perspectives using digital technology in the process.

It is a fusion of traditional and digital composition that depicts how Afro futurism can inspire a better post-pandemic world. A re-imagining of darkness: a reawakening of the past, a recontextualization of the present and a new conceptualization of the future.
