Project description:
“Beneath the surface” is an 8-track music album that deals with the challenges that have surfaced with the advent of Covid-19. The entertainment industries were among the many that took a hit and it brought a lot of pressure and problems. According to several studies, Namibia is in the top 4 African countries with the highest suicide rates. The country also has high rates of rape, GBV and depression.
The artist’s goal with this project is to start the conversation about these concerns and how each of us can try to rebuild broken societies.
