The African Culture Fund (ACF) closed its 14th call for proposals, SOFACO BATCH #5″, on April 15, 2024. This call received 427 applications, including 320 from French-speaking countries and 107 from English-speaking countries, from 46 African nations. The selection process was conducted in three stages: the registration and initial sorting of applications to establish a clean database, the preselection, and the final evaluation by an independent and autonomous jury composed of: Mr. Abdramane KAMATE (Côte d’Ivoire), Mrs. Maimouna JALLOW (Kenya), and Mr. Pierre Claver MABIALA (DR Congo). At he end of the deliberations, 15 applications from15 African countries were selected.
