Within the framework of their ACF ACADEMY Program, the African Cultural Fund (ACF) in partnership with the contemporary art space “32 BIS” in Tunis, and the support of the ‘Swiss Cooperation’ in Mali, invites visual artists from North Africa to apply for the second cohort of BOOT CAMP (#2) | VISUAL ARTS.

ACF ACADEMY is an incubation and support program for young visual artists and cultural managers, based in five (05) artistic and cultural hubs of excellence  throughout Africa: Northern Africa (Tunisia); Central Africa (Kinshasa); Western Africa (Mali); Southern Africa (Johannesburg); Eastern Africa (Seychelles and Kenya).

The call for applications for BOOT CAMP 2 | Visual Arts aims to contribute to the strengthening of creativity and competitiveness of ten (10) young visual artists from North Africa (5 women and 5 men) by providing support and mentorship through the organization of a BOOT CAMP in collaboration with the contemporary art space “32 BIS” in Tunis, over a period of three (3) weeks.

The ACF ACADEMY program will be certified by the Institut Kôrè des Arts et Métiers (IKAM) of Mali using the Kôrè-Quality label.

The participants will benefit from a specialised Professional Aptitude Certificate known as the Kôrè-Quality Certificate at the end of the ACF ACADEMY training, equipping them with the necessary skills to professionalise their work in the Visual Arts. They will additionally benefit from a year of support and mentorship by the greatest visual artists of the African continent. The Kôrè-Quality Certificate is recognised by the IKAM network and their partners throughout the African continent.
