The official opening ceremony of the Dakar Biennale was held at May 19, 2022 at the National Grand Theater under the strong presence of the President of the Republic of Senegal, His Excellency Macky Sall, with the participation of the great artists of the continent and the team of the ACF led by the famous Malian painter Abdoulaye Konaté, guest of honor at this 14th edition, and the illustrious Seychellois visual artist George Camille (member of the ACF Board of Directors).
