The “Ubuntu” project by Diane Kaneza (BURUNDI) | Call #11

Project description:

This project is a theatrical piece telling the story of the men and women who protected their fellow human beings during the period when rivalry and ethnic extremism raged in Burundi.

Unsung heroes, the artist wishes to tell them, show them to Burundians and the world, while capturing this humanity, reincarnating it through theater and using the image to converse with it, so that it can transform us.
