Project description:
“Silence des Origines” is a film aimed at contributing to the emergence of a new generation of professional rural women in Bogolan through a transdisciplinary method of bringing together different artistic and craft professions, promoting cultural diversity through cinema. as a means of raising awareness.
The project consists of broadcasting this film to groups of rural women present in several localities in Mali, in order to encourage them to undertake this profession while contributing to cultural diversity and economic development.

Artist’s biography:
Fatoumata Tioye Coulibaly is a Malian director. Passionate about art, winner of the CAMM competition (Conservatory of Multimedia Arts and Crafts Balla Fasseké Kouyaté) in the Multimedia section, she devotes herself to digital arts, photography and production. She was rewarded in 2015 at the innovation competition in Skirat in Morocco with her work on African integration, and won the special jury prize at FESPACO 2017, with her first film Heritage. She participated in about thirty film festivals. In 2019, she was appointed Copyright Ambassador representing Mali. Currently, she is president of the KILE association which trains more than 40 filmmakers each year and organizes the Kino Bamako.
