CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

BOOT CAMP #6 | CULTURAL MANAGEMENT

NORTH AFRICA, ALGIERS

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS

As part of its ACF-Academy program, the African Culture Fund (ACF), in partnership with AFREXIMBANK, is launching its sixth call for applications targeting cultural managers and artists from North Africa, as part of the activities of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025) in Algiers. This initiative aims to support the emergence, professionalization, and networking of young talents in the fields of cultural management across North Africa.

Recognizing the key challenges these professionals face—such as lack of technical resources, limited access to professional networks, and a scarcity of creative spaces—ACF and its partner are offering a structured support program that combines specialized training, artistic exchanges, and professional networking opportunities.

The program serves as a platform for learning and creative expression and reflects ACF’s commitment to the sustainable development and professionalization of Africa’s cultural and creative industries (CCI), while celebrating regional artistic identities.

Objectives of the Call

This call for applications aims to :

  • Strengthen the technical, managerial, and legal skills of young professionals in the visual arts sector through masterclasses focused on creation, intellectual property, and international positioning.
  • Promote a better understanding of market dynamics, particularly regarding the visibility of African artists on the international stage and the protection of their works.
  • Encourage an integrated approach to cultural entrepreneurship, grounded in the values of the Maaya concept, with the goal of supporting sustainable, locally rooted artistic initiatives.
  • Foster the exchange of experiences and best practices among North African cultural actors, in a spirit of intra-African cooperation.
